• Welcome on the journey to find your Enough!

In this exponentially changing world, the contemplating of “What is Enough?”  seems of the utmost importance. Whether you wish to escape a “rat race”, are looking for guidance on how to optimize your time spend or worry about what an ever-growing economy will do to a finite planet, transforming the definition of success from simply “more” to an intelligent “enough” seems critical. Great, we will just aim for enough from now on. But wait, what actually is enough?

My personal fascination with Enough originates all the way back from the days I was driving to basketball training and listing to motivational tapes over and over again. Clearly, the advice of having goals for my life made sense. I believed there is a difference between a life well lived and a life not well lived, and that I bear (at least in part) some responsibility for avoiding the latter. But visualizing these goals would often be hard, and (unsolicited) advice typically came with the stench of “do-as-I-do”, “do-as-I-say” or both. Unsatisfied and uninspired, I studied some more, looking for clues on how to set smart, intelligent, maybe even wise goals.

Different schools of thought hold different pieces of the enough puzzle. It’s my mission to bring them together here, study how they fit together and practice in bringing them into the real world. Feel free to take a peek on how the puzzle is progressing, suggest your own nugget of Enoughness wisdom in the comments or share your observations from practicing with implementation of Enough in your own life.

    Good luck on your journey!
